Dr. Grant Norland, DPT, CSCS is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Truman State University (MO) and a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. He specializes in evaluating and training quarterbacks, strength and conditioning, manual physical therapy, 3-D motion analysis, and corrective exercise.
Grant played quarterback at the college level at Truman and has coached and instructed quarterbacks for the last 15 years. Dr. Norland’s education, deep understanding of biomechanics, and experience as both a player and a coach make him one of the most uniquely qualified quarterback instructors in the country. He has the ability to instruct quarterback skill and mechanical development at a high level along with implementing physical training, including physical therapy treatment, to address the unique physical requirements of quarterbacks.
Dr. Grant Norland founded The QB Institute to bring a more scientific approach to the quarterback evaluation and training process. Since its inception, he has trained athletes at all levels, including professional, NFL combine prep, collegiate (Div. I, II, and III), and elite high school quarterbacks.
